Honestly? NAY. They are so tiny! EDIT: The number of chickens the website says is grossly over-exaggerated. Those birds will be super cramped. IF you go with this, please make sure to research your breeds and make sure they do okay with confinement, or the outcome could be disastrous. I hate to be a negative Nelly but I really despise how these companies say you can fit a too-high number of birds per coop. I am glad you got the run though and that they will have more room in summer.

Hi, I’m not sure if you have got the coop yet, but if so, how’s it going? We, like you, have six chickens and we are thinking of getting the cube too. But we are also worried about the size.

I'm in the UK where eglus are originally from. I've got and original mark 1 and I've had it for about 15 years and a mark 2 which I've had for about 13. Both are great. The original will hold 4 chickens no problem and my mark 2 will hold 6. They are really easy to clean and maintain. They are heavier than they look and would be difficult to overturn. We used the run that came with Mark 1 for several years and had no issues at all.
In the pictures the red one is the original mark 1 and the green one is the mark 2.

Hi, I’m not sure if you have got the coop yet, but if so, how’s it going? We, like you, have six chickens and we are thinking of getting the cube too. But we are also worried about the size.

i just finished building it yesterday.
Its bigger than i thought it was going to be. Ive added 2 pictures to try and show size. Pretty sure I already like it. The droppings tray slides out which makes cleanup a bit easier.
