ORAL IVERMECTIN GOATS INQUIRY

This is a duplicate post from myself when I inquired yesterday on Backyard Herds and haven't had any responses at this moment. I am in need of implementing the treatment asap.
I am going to administer 1cc of Ivermection via oral drench to my 55 lb doe in about 5 minutes.
I am confident I am in the ball park dosage wise.
If anyone would like to share their opinion, please read my request I just carbon copied from my post I placed on BYH yesterday first. I took the liberty of highlighting it in red to signify the copy of my other post.


Hey folks.. So a quick question about doses. I have various livestock wormed on various cures. I switch them out time to time to prevent resistance development.
Time to rotate off Cydectin to Ivermectin for my Goat herd.
My personal use chart is hand written by/with positive experiences but Ivermecton use for my Nigerian Goats wasn't recorded. We have indeed used ivermectin on them in the past but failed in documenting volume per poundage.
The internet has various answers and volumes.

An average answer in my research was 1cc per 50# of Goat for ORAL. That is double what we give to swine per pound wise.
I believe this might be incorrect as I try to remember the last usage.

I have dosed at 1cc per 30 pounds, and the 1 cc per 50 pounds. I have even dosed higher in an attempt to save goats overwhelmed by worms. Given orally.

Thank you. We keep accurate records of dates/meds/hoof maintenance.. just about everything. I was amazed I/we slacked off with entering numbers in our journal. After the fact we figured out that we wrote it on the box for the old bottle and it got discarded.
I drenched one cc this morn and will do a booster in a week. It has been a very wet 9 months for us. Keeping us on our toes.

I've had horrible worm problems for year, my stocking rate was apparently off. Now with less goats I am not seeing the troubles I did before, though I'm unsure if my problems were from worms or Johne's.
