Is there anyone in the Orlando area that "rents" either space, or processing equipment?

My son is either going to go to the Miami area, or would prefer to bring up a Rabbi from Miami to do the final training in his studies to religiously kill and process chickens.

In my other post, he is looking to acquire 100 chickens... it may be more practical to bring the rabbi up to this area, than to buy all the equipment and drive down there...

Your expert help and opinion is appreciated.

Have you contacted the Florida Kosher organization? I don't think they do shechita training specifically, but someone there would probably know of the best and closest options for him

Yes we have. Like you said, they don't do it. We have some names down in Miami, but they are semi-retired... and I guess the price of chicken and a career don't align.

My son is 20. Not making a career out of it yet, but another tool under his belt.

99% of people just rely on stores to provide food... He's trying to be resourceful.

We/he may end up having to travel abroad for the training.

Indeed, I know there is at least one school in the Baltimore/DC area that provides that training. Possibly somewhere near NYC as well.
