Orpington pullets close to lay? Or is it just me?

I’ve got two 29 week old Orpington’s and their comes are beginning to grow and all off a sudden they’re making lots of noise it’s a very fast bawk bawk bawk crawwwk sound could this be the day I beg my first egg from them?

By the chickens?
The strongest indication that eggs are close is the bird scratching around in the nests.

Curiosity about the nesting boxes is definitely a sign, but there is another sign: When you go to pet their backs, they will squat down. Is that happening?

Squatting can happen a few weeks before eggs,
messing the nests happens within a few days.

Not until you have given up any hope at all of getting an egg. When You have come to the conclusion that some how, you were chosen to have the only non laying birds on the continent. Then, a week later, they will lay!

Their roo has been mating with them since 20 weeks they are now 27 weeks

this is them today how long till eggs would you say? The noise levels have gone up
