Thanks Stan, he also gave a nice word and a link to BYC. Of course I put in a good word for him, the bat houses look great and he is such a pleasant man ! I hope we all do well at this event! If all else fails, we are going to have fun! BTW its a Rain or Shine, granted you will have to supply not only the table, personal chairs but a cover or umbrella. I wish we could have had the neat option like in Milford, NH of the stock room.
Oh well, I have got to return a call to a SunJournal reporter, public interest article! I think it is in the publics best interest to come, learn and join in on the conversations! Hope we can set up homes with chickens!
wouldn't that be cool!

this bat house talk reminds me of a funny story. my son made one in school, brought it home and asked his father to put it up for him. this was 3 yrs ago or more, anyway his father, not always the brightest put it up. i went out to see, mario so excited, he had put it up sideways!! ? why? no clue. makes me laugh still, the bats never used it, wonder why?

Guess what I was just told...Auburn, Me. it is able to own a small flock of hens, Lewiston, Me. is debating lifting the ban on hens! I just talked with a reporter from the Sun Journal News paper (wondering what he will write...

) I should say, hope I answered correctly.
Either way, our Chickenstock is reaching lots of readers, also being advertised in the Advertiser Democrat (local) and many areas with the other article.
I'm glad and BYC is getting big advertising in Maine! So look for increase in membership! Woohooo !

the school just hatched the eggs i sent over, will go friday in hopes that there are some std cochins hatched to take to maine. the other chicks stay at school for another week.
