Pasted Vent

My 3 day old bantam chicken "Little Bit" is acting weird and I think she may have a pasted vent. I am still new to chicks as this is my second batch and my first is only 9 weeks old.

Take some lukewarm water and start moistening the poop on his butt with it. Try not to get the feathers wet. You should be able to get it off fairly easy.

I tried, but all I succeeded in doing was freaking her out, and almost dropping her, it's pretty stuck on there.

Just keep going. Hold him a little tighter and use more water. It's either that or he ends up dieing. I don't know of anything else you could do.

Be brave and try again? Any solution is going to require holding a grumpy chick.

Sorry for taking so long, my phone wasn't getting enough signal and wouldn't load. I managed to get it off her after roughly 2 minutes of massaging her bum. She is doing better now, but still weak so I have been checking on her every 30 minutes to a hour, fingers crossed that she's gonna be okay.
