One of the Teal Malay eggs has pipped.

The chick in the Teal Egg has a gray beak, so this maybe the Silkie/Malay cross I need for the Giant Silkie Project. Looks like skin maybe black too, so it would be female if that's the case.

One Brown egg is pipped at the wrong end, but that's okay.

First Teal Malay egg hatched, & it's a Silkie/Malay Cross.
Good for my Giant Silkie Project, but I hope they all aren't, otherwise I'll have to do a redo, but can't until my two flocks can be separated.

The chick is also huge.

Okay, I think I see two that maybe purebred, at least I hope so. Will find out after they hatch.
Hope there's more then 2 so the project can continue.

Good news is I see a few beaks of a different color, so these maybe the ones I need for this project.
