Easter Egger X Malay. Gonna cull him, & use his pelt. He was a whoops.

He's not for the project, but just showing how he's turning out.

The Cinnamon hen is egg bound really bad this time, been working on her for a couple hours now. Unlike the last ones(Shell-less), this one has a shell, but not wanting to come out easily.

If she doesn't pass it in the morning, she's getting a warm soak.

Okay, she passed a big white soft shelled egg, it broke on the top of the nesting box. Yes a white egg, not blue like her sisters.
Now she has a small prolapse I need to deal with.

Went ahead, & put her down. I fished the egg out of her. It was really fat on one end, & normal narrow on the other. I think her pelvic bones maybe too narrow for it to pass through without problems.
