Peacock behaviour during breeding season

Hi there. I have 2 peahen and a peacock in an 8x8m cage. Every summer the peacock pesters the hens when they're on their eggs not letting them settle so they sometimes abandon the nest. My question is - if I were to take him out during the incubation period and re-introduce him once the chicks have hatched is he likely to attach them? your thoughts would be most welcome. thank you

Not all peas act the same but I have never had a cock hurt little chicks. Part of his behavior is his age, two and three-year-old cocks have not figured out how to behave like gentlemen in some cases.
