Hi, hoping for some help sexing 3 peafowl we’ve recently rescued. No idea how old they are as we attended a wedding and the venue said they had just appeared on site a few months ago and were causing a nuisance so were going to be shot the following week, so obviously we borrowed a dog crate and brought them home
Originally thought they were girls but the necks have a slight blue tint (really varies depending on light) and they have stripes on some feathers which from googling suggests they could be boys?
Hoping an expert on here can clarify for us (have a home with us either way!).
We’ve kept chickens for years and so far they seem to be settling in well. Other than game feed is there anything else massively different we should be doing for them verses the rest of our little flock?
Thanks
