Two days ago, I noticed one of my hens was making small, pencil thin, poops. I haven't had any experience with these poops, and don't know what they could be. Other than the pooops, she is very healthy, and active. She eats and drinks regularly, and is very chatty. Some things that could be affecting her is the fact that it’s been pretty hot lately, or that a new chicken has joined the flock a month ago. If anyone has some advice, please help me! Thanks!

When I think of diarrhea, I think coccidiosis. To be on the safe side, administer Corid. It can be bought from Tractor Supply.

Sorry at the moment I dont think I have any poops because I cleaned out the coop. But I’ll look to see if I can find a similar picture online.

:caf Well I've seen those poops too. I didn't worry too much because the poos under the roost in the morning look normal with the white urates. One hen was doing those thin ones for a while but they've normalized, I have no idea what was going on. I'm hoping someone will enlighten us!
