Penguin looking baby chick.

Had 3 BYM chicken eggs hatch over the last couple days (these were given to my sons by a friend who has a myriad of BYM chickens & the odd broiler rooster):

Blue egg- Penguin looking chick
Olive egg- black chick with spot on head (maran heritage?,possibly sexable?)
Cream egg- yellow chick (broiler mix possible)

The penguin chick took me by surprise...it’s the weirdest kinda cool looking thing.

I created a monster....

I cuddled the penguin chick last night & now when it sees people it distress calls until someone comes & gets it.

Watch this be a rooster which I can’t keep.

PRetty much the same but is getting some spotting. Feathering out really slow compared to the other 2. Comb size is about average.

The third bird pictured, mostly black one is a cockerel. Not sure about the others.

Agree with above. The (mostly) black one is 100% cockerel. The white looks like a pullet, and the "penguin" one, I'm unsure. it's a girl!

I have no doubt it’s a cockerel lol! Even it’s wattles are comin in & are hot PINK at just over 3 weeks.

I really hope that white one is a pullet. She’s got cheeks & I am digging her feather pattern coming in. I’m hoping the penguin one is a pullet as well as it’s super sociable & comes running. It’s featgering out way slower than the other 2. Tail feathers look non existent compared to the others but being BYM who knows what breeds are in it.
