There are 5 females in this bunch.....The 300 females are the all over brown ducks...one of them is very light...it is hard to tell it from the Welsh Harliquines.

Glad to see this thread is coming back! Such pretty ducks and are becoming more and more popular, to bad you can only get them from hatcheries. It is true that you can't breed a Gold Star 300 to a Gold Star 300 correct? The ducklings won't hatch out the same from what I heard. Can anyone confirm this?

I have not heard that. I have some in the incubator right know due to come out next week.

Hmmm......Now i am wondering about breeding them.

I know on the Metzer site they say the offspring are no longer sex linked............but do they have the good egg laying abilities?
That is the question that I wonder, because I bought these for laying (I got the male because they looked pretty

So, a good question you have there PDurkin!

Anyone try breeding theirs?

tbitt I remember that as well! I think jn3 is breeding them.

jn3 let us know how they turn out, post pictures when they hatch I think it would be interesting to see how what there coloring is compared to first generation gold star hybrids.
