This is Bob (Roberta), a Golden Laced Wyandotte, who is actually 1 week older than the rest.

Violet, an Ameracauana

Mimi, our other Ameracauna

and Hootie, our other GLW
No eggs yet but we are starting to see signs - think it might be the hot weather - we're keeping a close eye out - just hoping they don't lay out in the trees! Can't believe how fast they've grown.

Hi! Are you sure Bob isn't Roberta? Looks like a pullet to me. Looks exactly like my Delilah, who has since passed away

I also had a SLW, and she died too. I wonder if the Wyandottes aren't very hardy or long lived?
Your Chickens are BEAUTIFUL!!

Bob is definitely Roberta - my daughter named her and we've always just called her Bob! Hootie too is actually Hoot Hoot after some Pokemon character. I got to name Mimi & Violet.

Thank you - I hadn't considered it - I really haven't seen a lot of other people's chickens except on here - and most are gorgeous. Ours are pretty young - and we think they are beautiful of course. They are kind of lap pets. I'll look into it - thanks!

Are you sure - we got them from a local breeder who specifically said they were Ameracauna's but I've always kind of wondered when I've done research on them. I don't really care because they are family pets and sweet as can be but it would be nice to know for sure. It's actually kind of why I posted them - to see if anyone would comment about this.
