Picture Of The Week (POW) Information & Submissions

Hello, I just need to say you have an adorable profile picture!
I really want ducks, but I can't get a pond here (it's illegal because West Nile fever)..
Thank you! I love that you are interested in ducks. Sad you cannot get a pond, They are really fun to make (but are very stressful)

Not at first but now they do. They don’t like anything that’s new, until it’s not..
Congrats!
I know a chicken family with the same stubborn behaviour. 😄

I assembled and altered a very nice playhouse for them with 4-6 x the space of the old small coop. But still had to teach them this ‘semi attached house’ is way better. Mounted the auto pop door to the playhouse yesterday.

I have the chickcozy door too. My light sensor doesn’t work, it is really frustrating. I assumed it was just mine though, does yours work???

Yes it works perfect now. Initially I tried the door laying down on the table, that way it didn’t work right.

Getting the batteries out /in , resetting , meanwhile holding the door vertically it worked just fine.
No problems after mounting either.

So, how do you use the light sensor? I tried all different levels, and it was just crazy. I had the light sensor on 0 and it would close randomly during the day and way too early at night.

I didn’t change the standard and its good as it is. Closes at dusk and opens before I go outside to check and feed the chickens.
