Pictures of my current and previous chickens

Since, from what I can tell, most of the people on this forum aren’t from Europe? I wanted to make a thread to share(my chickens specifically, and)what selection of chickens is here(Around my area). Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures of the chickens for sale in the breeder's market, which is where we mainly get our poultry from. Feed stores don’t carry chicks here nor do poultry feed stores popular around here. Except for hatcheries and online bazar, breeder market is mainly where you’ll find chickens for sale.

Anyway.​

Common options here are CZDominant breeds and mixes. Leghorns, Australorp, Brahma, Wyandotte, “Liliput”, Hybrids(Golden Comet, ISA Brown, Lohman Brown)
A bit less common for some reason: Cochin, Orpington.

Sunny, under 1 yo, bought 11th of Aug, 2024. Leghorn. 9€

Stormy, under 1 yo, bought 11th of Aug, 2024. Mix. 9€

Snowy, under 1 yo, bought 11th of Aug, 2024. Mix. 10€

Shady, under 1 yo, bought 11th of Aug, 2024. Mix. 9€

Strippy, under 1 yo, bought 11th of Aug, 2024. “Tricolors”. 9€

Spotty, under 1 yo, bought 11th of Aug, 2024. “Tricolors”. 9€

Shadow&Summer, bought 8th of Sept, 2024. Pullet. Wyandotte. 20€/each but haggled to 18€ each.

One have a red ring, one have both blue ring, one on each leg.

Golden, 2+ yo Rooster, mix. 15€ iirc?

Previous chickens​

Skye, pullet, bought 11th of Aug, 2024. Pán Sedy. 9€
Lost

5 Unnamed chicks, bought 14th of Jul. 2024. Wyandotte cross...? Had rose comb.3€ haggled to 2€(per)
One died day 1(bird of prey) the rest died to rodent 8 weeks old.

Black, Grey, Gray, Silver. Bought as pullet, ~15€. It have been awhile. Blue copper marans?
Died due to various reason(butchered, predator, illnessx2)

I bought Snowy in their memory but it’s pretty clear they’re not the same.

Shared joint hen that likes me+her 4 sisters(not all pictured here). Bought 14th of Jul, 20247. Somekind of hybrid layers. 9€ haggled to 8,50€(each)

Previously 10, now 8, golden comet looking pullets. Bought 11th of Aug, 2024. 8,50€

Thanks! Snowy is a mix, but she resembles marans, but I have no idea what could exactly be her parentage. Could be a Darkshell cross.

Shady is also a mix, BUT, she resembles dominant black, and probably descended from them, but she’s not pure.

Strippy is a Tricolor, descended from the Dominant Tricolor D301 program but she’s not up to standard. They are a type of leghorn technically, she and Spotty do have the body shape of one, and look much like Sunny outside of coloring.
