pimple-like bumps around eyes with swelling that burst

sorry no pics but i will try and get some soon, but my 5 EE chicks are a little over a month, 2 months at the most, have pimple-like bumps appearing around eye area that keep reappearing and pop and today i walked out to the coop and there eyes were starting to swell a little and there pecking at it on each other so it will keep bleeding and scab over and also i just noticed one of the chicks have a weird black spot on his beak.and one other thing one of then have a crooked beak that looks like its getting even more crooked as he gets older becuase last week i couldn't even tell. thank for any help

It could possibly be fowl pox, a virus spread by mosquitoes. Ant bites could be another possibility. It would be best to see pictures of the bumps. Cross beak or scissors beak is a problem from a mineral deficiency in the parent stock or from heredity, and usually gets worse with age. Feeding water mixed with feed out of a high sided bowl can help them to eat. Trimming beak or filing can sometimes help to align the beak, making it easier to pick up food. Google "cross beak chicken," and look for TheChickenChick.com for some pointers on that, or do a search at the top of this page for more info.
 
UPDATE:the chicks look worse one's eye is swollen shut and they are starting to get it in both eyes!! please help! there getting me worried!!!!!
