Please educate a future Arkansas resident

I'm hoping to relocate to Arkansas in the near (2 years +/-) future, but I can't seem to find any hard and fast rules regarding keeping chickens inside the city limits. This has, so far, limited my search to properties in the country. I would love to live in the country (I do now) but if a property that meets my other preferences happens to be in the city limits, I'd rather not reject it out of hand. Can anyone educate me?

Most every jurisdiction, whether city, town, hamlet, etc., can have their own ordinances, so if you know which town you'd be considering, I would either look online for their city/town website and can then look up ordinances, but I'd rather just call their city hall and ask outright. We'd get transferred to someone no doubt, who could give us the answer.

Also, if you already have chickens, check AK and all states you'll be passing through on their laws for moving chickens from out of state.
