Good luck...If she's lost part of her intestine, I would think she's probably not going to be with you much longer. I doubt you're wrong about the lighter color. I would probably clean her up, then keep her segregated so you can keep a close eye on her droppings to see if it's normal or even if there are any!

Just thought I'd follow up.... 3 months later and Ginger is fine.... still not sure what that was!

I can sure see why you were concerned; it looks like pieces of intestine.
