It's a combination of seasonality / less-traffic this time of year plus peeps doing a fantastic job replying to unanswered threads!

Either there are less new threads, or more people answering them promptly!

Probably both.
The 3 forums I browse daily(management, behavior/laying, construction) have definitely slowed down with new threads in the last couple weeks. Typical seasonal shift.

You calling me slow?? Lol! I found the button. It’s in the hamburger menu top left.

The chat threads never slow down always at the top of the new posts list.

So, since I joined a while back, I have always gone straight to unanswered threads.
I was away for a while, and when I came back, I noticed there were hardly any.
The next day, the same.
I was like, what the heck is going on. Lol.
So glad to see this thread.

I try to answer unanswered threads. I know I would feel bad if I made a post and no one answered.
