I'm a new chicken mom and I have no idea what is going on with my girl? I have her a bath yesterday because her butt was gross and it looks like this today. Also she squirts out clear liquid sometimes. And all her poo is very liquid. Please help.

Hiya and welcome to BYC!

Does it smell? Vent gleet reeks.

I'd give her probiotics for starters, as that can help both vent gleet and diarrhea. We use probiotic powders for their water or ferment grains, but also sugar-free Greek yogurt is high, or just regular yogurt works too.

It's hard to tell by the picture, but if you think it's possibly an egg that broke inside of her, give her a human's Calcium +D pill, whole. Just pop it in her mouth. That'd give her contractions, and she should expel the rest of it.

She also has very labored breathing. And yes it smells

She has also never laid an egg before

Then in addition to probiotics which would help that, you can put Monistat cream or the equivalent on her tush, after you clean it, and give her a little of it orally. That's the stuff for yeast infections for women.

When you say labored breathing, is she wheezing or sounding raspy or anything or just breathing heavier than usual?

Yep, pretty much looks like vent gleet. Probiotics and Monistat as I mentioned above is how that's treated. Hopefully in a couple of days she'll be good as new!

Just having a hard time. Breathing very heavy

Vent gleet doesn't generally cause labored breathing so might be something else wrong. You said she's never laid yet so maybe she is having issues with her first one. Could you try soaking her bottom end in warm water? That's do two things...clean her bottom and relax her bottom so if she's having issues laying, it might help. The calcium pill I mentioned would be good too, and wouldn't hurt if it's not that.
