Do you have balsamic vinegar? I wouldn't use a cup, but start with a couple of tbsps and go from there. Maybe a balsamic and honey mix in some hot water to get it to 1 cup.

You can also use a bottle of beer in bean soups. The flavor profile will be different, but it is tasty.

Nice and easy Ribs.

As many baby back ribs as you can fit in your crock pot (I got a bigger one just for this lol)

Cut up an onion, and garlic if you'd like.
Pour your favorite BBQ sauce over the ribs and onions, cover and cook for about 6 hours.

The meat falls right off the bone, it's fantastic!

Here's three of my family's favorites:

Easy French Dip Sandwiches
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Easy-Slow-Cooker-French-Dip/Detail.aspx

I try and make enough extra to whip up an easy Beef Stroganoff with the leftovers. Just add some sour cream to the sauce and cook up some egg noodles.

Creamy Italian Chicken
4 boneless breasts
cover with 1/4 cup of water with 1 packet of Italian Salad dressing mixed in

Cook until meat is done
Mix together 1 can cream of chicken soup with 1/2 brick cream cheese, mix into sauce in crockpot. I also will add peas or broccoli at this point. Cook for another 1/2 hour on low. Serve over egg noodles, any other pasta or rice.

BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches

Shoulder roast or several country style pork ribs
1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce (we use Kraft Honey flavored)
Cook on low all day.

Looking forward to trying some of the others posted here!

I love to sautee some onions, cube a butternut squash, add some broth and wild rice, and cook in the slow cooker. When it's almost done, puree then put in some chopped kielbasa and you've got a delicious, healthy soup. It'd DBF's favorite.

My husband throws together a strange crock-pot meal once in awhile.

Alfredo Sauce
Meatballs
Cooked "sliced" or ground sausage
Corn
Noodles (elbow or linguini, depending on what we've got here)

I'm sure you could change things out, like switch chicken/quail for one or both of the meats, exclude either meatballs or sausage, switch corn for broccoli/peas/greenbeans/whatever, etc. It sounds a little weird (at least IMO) but it's pretty good. Could probably be done easier if you skip the sausage, so you don't have to cook it beforehand, but hubby usually makes it if we have sausage leftovers, simply because it's what we like.

Thanks for sharing all of these wonderful sounding recipes everyone! And thanks for asking PC

I'm jotting down several of them (well, technically subscribing to this thread, as I don't feel like writing)
