PLEASE TRY THIS FEED!! My 11 hens have laid over 100 eggs so far this year. Poll: what brand of feed do you get?

I have been trying out new feeds and am currently feeding NatureWise 20% all flock. They don’t seem to be massive fans of it but I have 80 pounds of it and they eat enough of it that it doesn’t justify returning it. I also did try Cluck & Co 20% all flock and my 6 seemed to absolutely love it. It actually smelled good. I never thought I would say that about a chicken feed. But at $25 for a 25 pound bag I don’t think it is worth it
Nature-wise 20% all flock smells good to me. It's the first time in my life that animal feed in a bag didn't smell disgusting. I was pretty shocked, maybe I was just hungry that day, but it smelled kind of like basil pesto and I wanted some 😆😅

Now it smells good to me as well! Almost a bit like pizza. I think it was just the difference in smell that I didn’t like.

I buy Thompson & Redwood Poultry Mix.

For baby chicks I give them the Chick Starter Crumbles, which is medicated to prevent coccidiosis. However the chicks eat the poultry mix without a qualm.

Once all the hens are laying I'll occasionally feed them a bag of Layer Pellets. But most of the time my hens eat whatever they find in the garden - grass, bugs, spilt grain, any food scraps I have thrown to them, the odd mouse they catch...

I like that your govt distinguishes between ruminants and other livestock, and has allowed animals back into poultry feed. But what exactly is the "restricted animal material" included in it?
