(1) Are you new to ducks? No, I am not. I had some ducks growing up on a farm, chickens as well. Currently I have a flock of ducks, but I also own a paired gander and goose and I am new to them.
(2) How many birds do you have right now? 6 total. Four delightful ducks and two geese.
(3) What breeds do you have? I have three Pekin ducks, and one Indian Runner. I have a female African goose, and a gander whose breed is a total mystery to me.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? The eggs are delicious. And the sheer joy I get spending time with them makes it worth it.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Boxing, Chess, and reading.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. That is all I would like to share.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I reference this forum frequently with questions, you guys helped me through some minor bumblefoot issues I could not have resolved without y'all. I finally joined because I want to ask what breed (or breeds) my Gander appears to be.
