Hi everyone!
First, forgive my English, but I am Spanish and I use in translator and second:
My muscovy duck, Sr Pato, is five months old, and has been moving his feathers for about three months, which is strange to me, since they feathers had recently come out.
Now he is changing the color again, and I don't know if it is normal for his molt to last so long.
I also want to add that I think it's a drake, because for two days when I'm going to touch him, he bites me very hard and even puts in an attacking position (it makes a weird croaking, it turns off gill, the crest is raised and even opened his feathers), Why does he do that? Is it just a stage? I already try to defend myself by saying "no", I hit it with my finger and even bend it to the ground, but I don't know why he acts like this now.

Thank you so much!

Hormones always get the best of them. Keep up with making him submit to you. Your are the dominant one not him. He’ll get the message if your consistent. When my Muscovy drake was age of your Pato it was amazing how many colors he changed into with his mini molts until he was around 6 months old. They have mini molts before they go through their big molt where they lose their flight feathers. That is in the fall here where I live.

If he attacks me that way, it's because he's a Drake, true? He just has carancles and to be a Drake I think it's weird haha.
I hope I can dominate him and make it soon, Thank you <3

Sure sound like a drakes behavior. Can you post some pics? I’d love to see Sr Pato. Just keep up with what your doing main thing is holding him down just like another drake would do to show dominance. And keep him down till he stops wanting to get up.

I will try It haha Although I feel sorry for him because I feel that I hurt him :-(
That's right now Sr Pato!

I think you have a female. If your sure on age? That face sure looks girly to me. Does Pato making trilling noises

Tres, I am sure of the age because I have calculated and compared it with other muscovies when I bought it hahaha
Sr Pato whistles, doesn't make a typical muscovy noise either, just whistles like when he/she was a baby...
If I was a female, why do Sr Pato attack me then? Can it be due to hormones?

If she is charging you or attacking then yes. I have never had a female act hateful except when broody. But if she is your only duck and you raised her inside then she isn't sure she is a duck. I did the same with a Muscovy duckling whose mama rejected him. I didn't know at the time it was a drake, he was the sweetest little thing till around 4 months old then he began jumping on my leg or my back when I'd turn around to walk away. I had people say to butcher him but many more helped me by telling me to be dominant over him. Being dominant doesn't mean we are hurting them we are just letting them know we aren't going to put up with their aggression. I have read members saying their Muscovy female got bity and moody once their hormones kicked in . So I'd say basically it's the same procedure with a female as a drake. Is she your only duck? Where ever she sleeps or sends the biggest part of her time give her a mirror so she can see herself. Make it so she can't knock it over on herself. But maybe this will help if she has another duck to relate too.
