Plymouth Rock thread!

We lost 9 last year and 3 so far this year. Last year was a fox. Not sure if that was it this year but we have had no more loses so I do not think so. I belive it was a hawk but he has left the area now.

Rooster is nice. Hen is real light in color though. Hens need to be brown in base color a med mahogany.

I put out 3 chick with moms last night. It has not bonded fully yet. I was out for over an hour making sure it was staying with moms. Will be keeping eye on it today. Alpha keeps attacking it when it is at feeder and he is there too. But he is off with other hens now so all is good.
 
Right now, Stan, he's super friendly, but then, most of my BR boys have been at this age. I hope when the hormones kick in he'll still be my buddy. I wish there had been extras for you, but it didn't work out that way this time. Maybe when these are breeding, you can buzz up here and get chicks or eggs from me.
