Polish Chicken purring

Hi everyone. New Polish owner here. Is it a common thing for Polish chooks to purr when they’re happy? None of my other chooks purr and it is honestly the sweetest thing. I’ve attached a link to a video of her purring incase no one has heard it before . Link is here: Chicken purring

Awwww welcome! I have two Polish hens and they were the absolute sweetest as babies. Loved to perch on my shoulder and would groom my fingers as I pet them. While they didn’t purr, they were very affectionate.

My Ameraucana purred all of the time as a baby! Especially when perched on my chest. She even purred at night on the roost when she cozied up under another bird’s wings. I think it confused all of the other birds as she’d be the only one making lots of noise at night.
