I purchased 2 Polish Crest and 4 Silkie chicks that arrived in September. All but 1 of the Silkies ended up being roosters. I've tried keeping them, but my coop is in chaos at times.

The Polish Crest Roo doesn't bother the other chickens, but when I put up my Sebastopol geese for the night he doesn't like it. I don't hv a choice because of predators out here. My geese are super sweet&friendly. .They get along with all my other birds.

Time to restore order :) I'd be happy if they could find a new place better suited for them...The Silkie Rooster is standing next to the Polish in 2nd pic. Those are the 2 that I'm re-homing. They get along fine, but will consider splitting up if someone only needs 1.

If only you were closer!!!!! 😫😫😫 I’m on a year out wait list for both of these breeds! Lol you can’t find them anywhere around here. And all the hatcheries are on back order for hatchlings

We just ended up w too many roos in a short time. Otherwise, they are great birds and I'd keep if not an issue. Having to lock Rod Stewart (polish crest name) up every night to get geese in.
