One of my 2 year old chickens had poop on her butt and was moving slowly, and closing her eyes so we cleaned off her butt and she seemed fine. A few days later her butt was covered again. So we soaked her in a bin of water and soap and while washing her off there was a big white ball and when I pulled on it the white part came off but there was like a "string" attached and coming from her butt and on the end of the "string" thing it looked like a deflated chicken heart. I ran to the house to get my phone to take a picture and when I got back it went back inside of her. Does anyone have any idea what that was??? When trying to find information Prolapsed Vent kept coming up but it did not look anything like that .

It was dark pinkish in color and she lays green eggs
Hm, darkish pink? That sounds odd. For a shell-less egg shell it would be white and not green, because the shell around it wasn't formed yet, therefore there would be no "dye" coated around it.
I would give some Calcium Citrate +D3 every day for a few days and see if she expels anything. Soaking her will also help with that.

It could’ve been a small chunk of “meat” I have found them occasionally inside an egg
What they are: Meat spots are protein deposits or tissue fragments that detach from the hen's reproductive organs (ovary or oviduct) as the egg passes through

I havent given them any red meat lately. It really looked like a deflated sac and seemed to be attached to that "string" thing. I am quite squeamish so this whole process was not easy for me!!! She seems OK today so hoping she stays that way!!!

If it happens again, take a picture. It may have been an odd egg. There are many pictures of those online. What color are her egg shells? A blip in egg production can result in an egg shell membrane with a tail, and some round pink or red weird eggs. If you see fleshy pink or beige material that could be a lash egg.
