A couple days ago two of my puppies got to my chicken, i’m not sure how they got into the coop but they must’ve been biting her neck because she had a pretty bad wound on the back of her neck, where like her skin is open. (Not sure how to say it, though i’ll attach pictures)
I tried cleaning her wound with the limited amount of things i have and don’t think I did a very good job at it. I’m also not able to take her to a vet, which sucks![Frown :( :(](/styles/byc-smilies/sad.png)
And i’m just really worried for her because I think her wound could be infected because it’s like a dark color and a bit of skin around it is like, white? And theres also a bad smell coming from her which is concerning. She’s been eating and drinking alright, not too much movement or being vocal, and she just kinda stands there. Since she’s inside my house. I’m making sure to keep her warm and away from the other chickens. (Thankfully they weren’t harmed)
And so I would just really appreciate if i would get some help on what to do if it’s infected or how to keep it from getting infected
