Hi. Everyone. I am new to posting so i hope i am doing this right. I have a hen that is in her 2nd year of laying. She is an asian blue. She started laying rubber eggs about a week ago. She has calcium rocks everyday. She eats flock party layer pellets which also have calcium. She started speeding up laying eggs. Sometimes 3 in a day. I know this for sure because i only have 2 chickens and would find 4 eggs in egg box. 2 normal and 2 rubber eggs. 3 days ago when she got up in the morning she was laying on one of the rubber eggs and some of it was stuck to her behind. I dont know if it ruptured or if she just sat on it. Ever since then she hasnt had much of an appetite. She is drinking water with electrolytes. I added that 2 days ago to help. Her comb is still very red. Her poop is watery sometimes but it has gotten hotter outside. She just stands around looking pitiful. I finally found a vet but they are not open until mon. Morning. Anybody know anything i can do. She is a beloved pet! Thanks all!
