Possum daytime risk?

Carbon monoxide from a car's exhaust pipe will do the trick with little trauma. Better than drowning. Put the trap in a feed sack, tape it to the tailpipe, start the car. Might have to poke a few holes in the end of the bag to prevent stalling out the motor. At least ten to fifteen minutes to be sure. Then bury the carcass at least a foot deep.

Possums are perfectly edible. And you eat chickens? Cows? Cute widdle piggy wiggies? Slimy old fishies that swim around in the same water where they poop, or shrimp that actually eat that poop and the planktons and stuff that eat it first? Uh, okay, then. Most people who won't eat possum have never even ate possum.

You are so right! But I'm still not interested in eating possums, or coons, or squirrels. Also not insects, or whatever. Spoiled? You bet! Not pig's feet either...
