I think there is a possum living in a very cluttered shed behind my duck house. Not sure how to go about getting rid of it as it can be hiding behind anything in there. LOL You have to move stuff out of the way to walk around in there...which is why suggestions are needed.
If Tractor Supply has a trap in stock, and I can manage to put it in the shed, what would be best to use for bait?
new game cams set up in the yard shows it coming and going from that area so I went looking around this morning after viewing. Heard something moving in that shed and closed the door. LOL

It should be fine. Large raccoons won't fit in it though.
Fruit will work too. Meat will catch other critters, not a bad thing either.
And relocating it is a terrible (possible illegal) idea! Only trap it if you will then shoot.

Cat food is what works best for my possum and raccoon catching...also those TSC traps can be flimsy so be careful of that. Believe it or not a possum is a pretty mean critter when he wants to be. I use mainly Duke brand live catch traps and have caught dozens of different things in them and they hold up very well.
