Narragansett baby...jumps up on top of the feeder, and tries to get out of brooder!
They are amazingly inquisitive and exploratory aren't they? I wish I could stop my poults from roosting on the top of the one gallon waterer and pooping in the water. I've rigged higher roost bars and even covered the waterer with a stainless steel mixing bowl but while there is an improvement, the water is still foul and needs to be cleaned several times a day.

My Bourbon Red poults trying our their new roost. I set it up hoping to keep them off the waterer and thus reducing the number of times per day I have to clean it. They love the roost, but still poop in the waterer just to keep me fully employed.

My Bronze poult did the same thing. I took the top off the plastic feeder used by my adult birds (the top is basically a wide cone, so highly slanted and no place to stand) and put it on top of the waterer. When they jumped up they just slid off. Be sure the waterer is on stable footing, as the repeated attempts to jump up before they give up can knock the waterer over. I put a small table over the adult bird's feeder to prevent them from roosting on it. You could also just put a tiny table over the waterer. They'd probably enjoy the platform, but you'd probably have to make one that size.

Just about each morning, my wife and I head out to the porch for a couple of cups of java after we left our flock out. Though our coop for the turkeys is in our backyard about 200' behind our home, the kiddos have gotten use to coming to the front in the morning to see if we're there to join us. Too funny!

So, at times, we'll bring out our camera and snap some selfies and other shots of them enjoying the morning with us on the porch.

Gotta love a couple of the photo-bombs by our kiddos as well.
