View attachment 3976342Mines a 50 gallon bin with hardware cloth in the top.My dad used a rivet gun to install the cloth.
I like it! I have an anxious boy who flies up whenever he’s spooked and hits the plexiglass top of the enclosure. What kind of bin is it? I didn’t even realize the mesh came in cloth. I’m obviously new here, and jealous of everyone’s builds.
 
This is my first version of my button quail enclosure. I finished it last week plan on making some minor adjustments on my next one. I have sliding acrylic doors. There are a total of eight individual cages 24x24 with lights on a timer. I use min cpu fans with filter vent holes to cut down on bird dust in each cage and I am keeping 4 hens with one male in each unit. SO far its working really well thinking about using automatic watering nipples. WHat do you guys think?

I would be concerned that they're not getting enough ventilation.
