The first of our "chicks" laid her first egg yesterday. Our Rhode Island Red, Clementine, gave us another itty bitty egg today. Show next to our Barred Rock Hen's egg. So excting!

Got our first blue egg! We bought 2 White Leghorn x Barred Rock cross breed chickens yesterday and when my wife and I woke up we already had two eggs. Had one nesting when I left for work.
We also started getting brown eggs with darker brown speckles.

Our first egg today!!!our Golden Comet, Pumpkin, laid this just minutes ago and it is perfect!!! I feel like a proud [] Mama. She is 6 months and one week today, and I hope the other girls will follow soon.
