I would try and stain it to match the existing structure behind it.

I am just jealous! WOW what a gorgeous coop - Whatever color you paint it - painting makes it easier to clean for sure and for certain! I spray mine out and one I did paint and the other I did not and wishing I did!!

Wow! That's really nice. You need to submit that to be added to the BYC coop pages.

Me personally... I'd paint it match that barn next to it. It's kind of an aged/rustic barn red.
