I got him Mazuri Mini Pig feed for youth it says from mini pigs 0-16 weeks. I got it from Tractor Supply. I looked on this one website and emailed them they said to try the baby Gerber rice cereal that's why I figured I would bring it up on here but wasn't sure about it.

The Mazuri is highly recommended so that is a great choice (Purine Nature's Match is also highly recommended). Pigs do well with other foods in their diet, but to help keep it balanced make sure it doesn't consist of only one thing. Rice cereal is a good supplement to his piglet pellets.

Good treats or supplements to the diet of a mini pig can include rolled oats or oatmeal, wheat, barley, rice, unsalted nuts and seeds (excess salt is dangerous for pigs), timothy or meadow hay, fruits of all kinds (they even love banana peels), carrots, cheerios and other cereals for babies, lettuce/greens and cooked beans, and even unsalted cooked meat, fish or eggs.

A balanced diet is important, but if your piglet isn't eating a lot then it is best to give him what he will eat first and switch him onto a healthier diet when he has a good appetite.
