Attention all poultry enthusiasts and cell phone photographers! It's time to show off your feathered friends and their charms in our cell phone photo contest. Grab your smartphone, snap remarkable shots of your beloved fowl, and join the excitement for a chance to win a prize.

Whether you raise chickens, ducks, turkeys, or any other feathered beauties, this contest is for you. Your cell phone camera is all you need to capture moments and showcase the fascinating world of poultry. From adorable chicks to proud roosters, from fluffy feathers to striking plumage, let your creativity soar as you immortalize your poultry companions through your lens.

How to enter:
Entering is simple! Just snap the perfect shot of your feathered friends, upload your poultry portraits to the gallery, and post the BB code link of your image in this thread. Our judges will evaluate each entry based on composition, lighting, clarity, and the irresistible charm your poultry exhibits.

To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.

Rules:

1. Four entries per member. One entry per post, please.
2. Cell phones only!
3. An entry is the BB code of your cell phone image in the gallery.

4. All domestic poultry allowed (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, peafowl, guinea fowl, quail, pheasants, etc.)
5. Other animals may be in the photo, but the star of the photo must be poultry.
6. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
7. No screenshots, watermarks, date stamps, text, etc., on the photo. No collages.
8. The photo needs to have been taken by you.
9. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest.
10. High-quality images are recommended. Basic editing, such as cropping and other subtle changes, are allowed.
11. ALL photos MUST be uploaded to the gallery and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
12. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
13. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
14. Entries will be accepted through February 6th, 2024, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

I will definitely enter because I think it's a fun idea ! But, looking at the pictures already posted, I feel a bit of shame. There should be a specific category for cellphones under 150 bucks price tag. Most of the pictures posted are taken from phones that have a resolution and lenses equivalent to a digital camera, with a better AI.

I use portrait mode with mine as well... I'm sure it is allowed.
