Pre-fab coops?

Living in Wisconsin, those prefab coops just won't work in the winter. The birds would be cramped, I don't think there is enough ventilation, and the small amount of birds would mean they'd be very cold.

I used one of the pre-made sheds that are available. I'm fairly handy, so I made the modifications myself. It was made to my specifications, and the coop is in one corner of it. I added the chicken door, used metal roofing for the interior walls, and put in a cement floor with a drain. You wouldn't have to make it as fancy as I did. Some of the places that make the pre-made sheds also have chicken coops. Check out https://oldhickorybuildings.com/ That is where I got my shed. It will last a lifetime.
You have wealthy well cared for chickens. Love the drain idea for cleaning for a good hose down.

I have a prefab I bought at TSC, I use it for a brooder and grow out, and if needed a Jail when there aren't and youngsters in it.
If I had to do it over again I would go with a 8x10 or a 10x12 garden shed and make the mods to it for chickens. I have a 5x8 right now that was built under a lean-to and it has a cement floor. We put red brick on top of the cement so the water can flow under and not get the bedding wet.
This is my prefab, I got it on sale at TSC $189
My coop
My run 10x15...expanding it this month to 10x25

How many chickens do you have? Was 10x15 not enough? That's the size of my run.

Once I add my pullets to the flock I will have 19 hens so yes the run needs to be bigger. 10sq ft per bird in the run, and right now I have a 5x8 coop which isn't really enough space for that many birds, but they only sleep in it and lay eggs in so the priority is the run. I do have to add some more roosting bars as I only have 14 ft atm so will add another 5-6 ft of roosting bar. Then I can add to the coop over the winter when the temp here are cooler. I also have a Roo and a cockerel but they will be in different pens and roam during the day time.
