If a small head goes into a quart jar, 4 small heads should fit in my gallon jar. Thanks!I have sauerkraut already fermenting on my counter. It's only in a quart size jar so it's just one small head of cabbage. I don't know how much would fit in those jars
That butter looks AMAZING! What do you have those skewers stuck into. Mr tg would not approve of me punching holes in the side of my cabinets! lolI worked with basil this morning. I removed the leaves from three plants, threaded the big ones onto skewers and hung them to air dry.

And I made basil butter with the smaller leaves, with a few walnuts and almonds and a bit of salt. I'll be able to slice off pieces of the frozen roll as needed. A hot knife should work.
