Pricing for Seramas?

I've recently added 5 seramas to the family, have become addicted, and would like to add more

. I'm just wondering how to determine whether the serama is worth the price. Here are a few birds I'm looking at. How much would you pay for them?

None are stellar examples although the hen in pic 2 isn't bad.

My thoughts exactly!! I do like the hen in pic #2, too. The girl who's selling them is asking $200 for 4 hens and a roo, or $125 per bird. (I've negotiated down to $75 for 1, but I'm trying to talk her lower.) How much would you pay for that bird?

i wouldnt get anything except that one hen the others are just culls. i would say 75 is resanoble but i think 50 is better
eta: i dont think that roo is even serama

He does look pretty ratty. The Denver serama market isn't very big. I can get a nice looking bird for $15. At this point I'm keeping them for enjoyment. Someday I may breed though.

The type doesn't look great on any of them. I don't think I would pay that much for them. The one hen is ok like the others said, but that's it.

I would NOT buy ANY of them, even the hen in pic #2. If you just wanted them for pets (I would NOT recommend breeding them!), then $15 or less is an ok price for them.

Thank you all VERY much!! My thoughts exactly. I love the coloring of the hen in pic #2, but I definitely think the girl is charging too much. I knew if I consulted my "experts" I'd get a good idea of how these birds rate. Thanks again, you're awesome!!

DONT PAY THAT FOR THOSE BIRDS!
This is why serama breeders have a bad name!
Those are all culls...
The hen in pic 2 has a back that is waaaay long. That is super hard to breed out.
Those prices are what I would charge for a SQ breeder! One of my very best!

Here is a cheap one that I dont really even like! He has waaaay better type than all those other guys. This one is super vertical and small, but too slim in the chest...
