Pullet mooing

So my SC brown leghorn pullet laid her first egg today. I turned them out and she proceeded to just walk around not scratching and pecking. She was emitting this very low mooing sound for lack of a better word. She didn't appear in any pain or stressed. I put her back in the coop and she stopped after about an hour. What was going on? I've never seen this before. She is rather high strung. Everyone else was acting normal.

that's curious. my hens make noises different from each other when they've laid and egg. it's kinda like a "see what I did!" noise. I would just watch her to see that she's ok. that may be her victory song when she lays an egg.
