(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We first got them in early 2020; had nothing to do with the pandemic
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I honestly cannot answer this one as the hubby has significantly increased the number (60+?) since I deployed... not home yet.
(3) What breeds do you have? Again, that is a hubby question, but I know there are at least five (plus)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Conversations between us and the daily surprises
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Canning, cross-stitch, books, life
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Small family, six cats (now), 2 labramuttts, Food Safety and Defense officer for Army as well as Certified Veterinary Technician. I am NOT a people person, regardless of what most think of me. In person interactions are exhausting for me.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Hubby shared a newsletter a few weeks ago and I actually manage to have occasional downtime.
