Purebred Welsummer rooster?

Photo is from an advert for purebred Welsummer eggs, colouring and leg colour look a bit off and the rooster looks a bit 'beefier' than a standard Welsummer am I right?

Hard to say. I’d like to see more (and better) photos. At the very least he’s not high quality, but if that doesn’t matter to your plans, then go for it. It all comes down to what your goal is.

Just a pet, I just find it kind of scam when some breeders sell chickens/fertile eggs at premium prices and label them as 'purebred'.
 
Yeah, I get it. I get my birds from reputable sources and then breed my own stock as much as possible. Most chicken owners don’t even know what they’ve got. We sometimes go through FB marketplace just to see what people are advertising for sale. It’s crazy!
