Quail and Guinea Fowl?

Can guineas transmit diseases to quail the way chickens can?
My very, very tame quail will be allowed to free range soon with the protection of my border collie. If they wander into the paddock with the guineas could they catch any diseases from the guineas? I will allow the quail to free range for a couple of hours before returning them to their aviary. The guinea fowl have seen quail before and do not try to attack them so I dont need to worry about that.

I'd say they'd be just fine together- The guinea might bully and pick on the quail.
