I also have this chick who has splay leg. Do I need to cull it too?

I had a rooster with splay leg, we treated it with bands and he was just fine. He lived for about 7 years

I would try bands first. If you don't see improvement withing 24-36 hours, then I would consider culling.

this one should be ok. tie a rubber band loosely around the legs, or use a bandaid folded in half as a splint.

I have five quail with splay leg. I keep them separate from the others. I use shallow bowls for their food and water.

They are 8 weeks now are are thriving. They scoot around just fine. They cuddle together and lay eggs. They're just fine. They are so cute and I love them.
