So I recently put my chicks in the brooder, they go under the brooder plate but only 1 rarely comes out, I'm worried they'll get hungry or dehydrated. They keep walking around with their heads sliding around the underside of the brooder, I don't know why?
Thanks

They seemed to have gotten used to it, it was weird I don't know how to explain it. I have 3 pipped eggs left one has been pipped 3 days and hasn't made progress 😕. Should I try assist tomorrow morning?

If an egg doesn’t hatch after 24 hours it is recommended to do an assisted hatch.I wouldn’t have high hopes if it has been three days though, but do your research and be VERY careful.

I did an assisted hatch before, last year on a chicken egg and it went very well and she's my best layer. I'll probably leave it for tomorrow just in case it will hatch on its own.

He was dead, he looked perfect, I suppose the weakest just don't make it. There's still 2 others but they haven't pipped fully through yet they pipped but they aren't actually through the shell yet, so I'm staying hopeful.
