I cant find any soy free feed unless its over $2 a pound and i cant afford that. Does anyone have a brand they like that is soy free? and will work for quail?
I am getting hatching eggs late spring and trying to get ready for chicks when they hatch.
i currently feed a gmo corn and soy free layer feed but the protein level would be way to low.

Unfortunately, if you really want specialized feed, you're going to pay a premium for it. If you have a local feed mill, they may be willing to custom mill your feed, but you'll have to buy a LOT of it.

There is no such thing as GMO corn...all corn in the USA is GMO with the only exception being corn raised on the Zuni and Hopi reservations.
There are feed manufactures that use fish meal and other animal meat byproducts but they are hard to find and expensive.
