Question about Poul-vite

My chicks are ready tomorrow, and I can't figure out the directions on the bag of POUL-VITE.

It seems to say that 1g is a 1/2 teaspoon, and then it goes on to say to add that to 1.8L of water OR to 1 Gallon of water...?

1 Canadian Gallon is 4.54Liters, so what am I missing?

It's US, not Canadian. 1 US gal is 3.78L, so the math checks out. But it's 1/2 tsp = 2.1g, not 1/2 tsp = 1g.
So if you have 3.78L then add 1/2 tsp for the proper dosage.
